                        Warm greeting to you from Dharan Nepal.
We are delighted to welcome you at Dharan(Nepal) for forthcoming 5th SAARC Congress of Radiology (SCR-2012) scheduled on 16th – 19th Feb 2012. SCR-2012 is being organized by Dept. of Radiodiagnosis and Imaging BPKIHS, Dharan jointly with Nepal Radiologists’ Association (NRA)and Radiological Society of SAARC Countries(RSSC).

          Dharan is small beautiful city in Eastern Nepal. The venue of conference, BPKIHS Dharan, is close to Nature unlike other venues of National – International conferences in general. SCR venue i.e.  BPKIHS campus, is least polluted  and is situated in foot of Mountain. It is gateway to tourist destination/tracking to snowing areas. The noise pollution and air pollution level is barely minimum. We inform with confidence that this conference SCR will accord unique Academic feast coupled with visit to Nature. The visitors will witness a scenario of emerging Radiological  imaging services, techniques/technicalities coupled with new possibilities  in developing countries and give a boost to public services in SAARC countries in general and to this area of Nepal in particular. A great number of world famous experts will be participating in keynote addresses, workshop, feature seminars, conference speeches, Academic paper and reports, case study, film reading session, poster(e-poster), quiz which are going to be main attraction of Academic feast.

            Dharan is rich in tradition, unique culture ethnicity having famous temples of Dantakali Devi , Pindeshwor Shiva temple, Budha Subha Temple. Other attraction includes Earthquake Memorial park, Barahakshetra, Vishnupaduka, also nearby tourist spot include Bhedetar hill spot, Hile, Koshi tappu wild life reserve.

           Venue site, BPKIHS Dharan, by Rail is (a) Approx 100 Km from Siligudhi India and (b) Approx 40 Km from Jogbani Bihar, India by road. And by Air the venue site can be visited from Bagdogra Airport India (Approx 100 Km), also Kathmandu International Airport and Biratnagar (Domestic Airport) approx 40 Km road drive connect to Dharan, the venue site.

          Elaborative arrangements are in process to organize this conference with global presence.
